"A blast from the past—in the best way!" Walking into this theatre feels like stepping into a time machine (minus the flux capacitor). The seats may not recline, but you are also not paying recliner prices, and the popcorn machine might be older than some of the movies they show—but that’s all part of the charm. Staff is friendly, never rushing you, and the vibes are pure nostalgia. You go to a small-town theatre for a reason.

Update: Decided to brave another outing after warning them about my last experience and took my granddaughters to see Freakier Friday. I was pleased to see no trash in the parking lot and other than a few cigarette butts, a clean entrance. The film was sharp and clear. The screening room itself was too warm, but besides that, a good experience. Had to wade through trash in the parking lot and at the entrance. I would suggest if the manager can’t afford to hire a clean-up crew that he does it himself. Going to a movie should at least not feel like going to the dump. The film quality was AWFUL! Kept going in and out of focus and the picture quality was faded and dark. Wasted 50 bucks to take my granddaughter. We would have had a much better experience watching a movie on my home tv. Don’t waste your time and money on a theater that obviously doesn’t care about its customers.

Always love visiting this theater for a wonderful viewing experience. Several showings offered at various times and the popcorn, food and beverage is superb. Love the options for popcorn salt and flavored sodas. Nice theatre.

Drove from Jasper to see the 8:15 movie after getting off work. Were pressed for time but ate a quick meal at Chik-Fila so we could get there just in time for the movie. It even says on your web site “movie starts 25-30 minutes after showtime”. We got there at 8:35. Doors were locked. Could not get in to see the movie and no one would answer the phone. There were eight customers; four with us and four in another car, that could not get in. At least $100-$200 in lost revenue. We have been coming here for 20+ years. The place has gone down hill in the last few years. Bathrooms are usually filthy and stink. Concessions prices are ridiculous, have very little selection and usually stale. They have removed most of the snacks and candy from the shelf. Who wants to pay $16 for stale popcorn and flat coke. No wonder people are sneaking food in. Parking lot is filthy because they allow loitering from non customers.

My husband and I enjoyed our experience. I know the price of everything has gone up, but as much concessions as they sell, I don't understand why they need to be so high. We paid more for a drink, popcorn and candy, then we did for our tickets.

This AMC is fantastic—clean theaters, great sound, and the recliners are so comfortable you almost forget you’re still in Cullman. It’s a perfect movie spot… if you can get past two things: the teenage truck brigade outside and Will Skinner. First, the parking lot. It’s apparently the local hangout for high schoolers in oversized trucks who think idling, revving, and leaving their trash everywhere is a personality. They treat the place like a dump with headlights. But hey, at least they provide background noise while you dodge beer cans and vape clouds on your way in. Then there’s Will. I don’t know how to say this nicely—he moves slower than dial-up internet. Every time I see him behind the counter, I age a year. Somehow, he manages to sigh at you like you inconvenienced him by buying a ticket. Will, my guy, if glaring at customers and shuffling like a zombie were Olympic sports, you’d bring home gold. Still, 5 stars. Great theater. Just bring patience for Will and maybe a trash bag for the parking lot.

Popcorn was stale, drink machines were almost out of everything, facilities were unclean. They did finally upgrade the seats so that was nice.

The parking lot looks like a dump. Bathrooms are filthy. So are most of the seats. Sometimes they forget to turn the lights off when the movie starts and you have to go tell someone. Overall the place is declining bad.
