Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast

Hermosa casa sobre el lago Lucille. Lo mejor es el parque trasero que da al lago. El desayuno muy abundante y la cama muy cómoda! Altamente recomendable para relajarse y tener una escapada a Wasilla, Alaska!

Ubicación muy bonita al lado lago donde pude ver atardecer precioso y aurora boreal.El hotel es bonito, limpio y confortable.La dueña fue un poco seca , amable pero casi no nos dirigió la palabra y éramos los únicos clientes.Desayuno escaso,sin preguntarnos lo que queríamos , ella decidió cocinar tortitas y salchichas,igual debido a que no había más clientes y no tenía desayunos preparados día a día.Aun así, el lugar y el hotel merecen la pena.En los alrededores hay algunos restaurantes , pero hay que ir en coche 5 min.Alrededor no hay más que viviendas.

We had a wonderful stay!! From the moment we arrived, Carol made us feel at home. The property is immaculatly kept with beautiful views of the lake. Carol invited us to eat the fresh raspberries out of her garden-delish! Our rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was a highlight— homemade, delicious, fresh, a lot to choose from and Carol accommodated for our vegan daughter. We will recommend and come back!

What a wonderful stay! Extremely easy check in and beautiful landscaped grounds with a short walk down to the lake. Breakfast was amazing. So much food and so good. Our hosts made a wonderful buffet of options from muffins to potato casseroles to a stuffed French toast plus plenty more. We ate our fill and were ready for a full day of exploring. Well done hospitality

This B&B is extra special. First- its location is on Lake Lucille. A dock complete with benches and fishing rods and bait were available. The lake mirrored the beauty around it. |The property is meticulously landscaped with lush grounds and plantings. |The rooms are well appointed with everything you need. You can see the owner operator Carol’s personal touch in the art and design throughout the B&B. It was clean and sparkling everywhere. Parking was easy. |In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast with many selections that were fresh and homemade. Her dining room is full of light and charm. |This is a place we will definitely return on future trips to Wasilla.

This place is absolutely charming! I can't say enough good things about the property, the owner, the breakfast, and our overall experience. Carol is a fantastic host who has thoughtfully cultivated such a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. The grounds are stunning—lakefront with beautifully maintained gardens and plenty of cozy spots to sit and unwind. Breakfast was a true highlight, with a delicious selection of hot dishes and freshly baked pastries each morning. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Exceptional stay, views and home like environment. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in June; it was fabulous! We had the upstairs suite with the private bath and the space and view was soooo nice! The breakfast in the morning AND coffee is fabulous! Unbelievable variety, taste and care put into the breakfast each morning. Carol, the owner, is such a NICE person that I wish we lived closer because it would be such a nice get away for local people. The property is beautiful and it was relaxing to sit on the dock on a bench looking at the lake and watching all that was going on along with listening to the birds. Very relaxing!

Just do it!! This place is like staying at your grandmother’s house in Wisconsin. When you know you know ;). The breakfast was all homemade and deliciously incredible (we are foodies and can’t say enough about the breakfast)! Very clean. The backyard looks out on to the lake and is well maintained, beautiful, and relaxing. A great place to stay on your first or last night when flying into or out of Anchorage. Enjoy!
