Great local hang-out. The food is amazing and the drinks are strong! The bands they book are always so good! The service is great and there's plenty of entertainment. There is a giant projector screen for UGA football, darts, video golf, slots, and a large billiards room. We always have a great time here.

The 4 of us had to pay a $5/person cover charge just to enter even though the band hadn't even started playing. Took forever to get service. Ordered a wrap no tomatoes, got tomatoes. The lights were turned down so low I had to use my phone flash light to pick them out after I ate a mouthful. Asked for ranch which I was charged for but never received. My husband order a salad and tomato soup. Never got the soup. The band had started playing by then and they were so loud we had to scream at each other. Never got drink refills. Never got asked if the food was OK. Asked for our check, which had a 5% service fee as a line item. Ridiculously expensive for the sub par food and service...$85, plus the cover charge. Would not recommend.

The food and service is wonderful! Jennifer was our server, and she is fabulous! What a sweetheart with a beautiful smile! My husband and his best friend enjoyed playing pool. I highly recommend Moonshiners for a fun time! We will definitely be back!

Contemplated give a 3 or 4 stars but ultimately gave 4 strictly because our waitress Carlee was absolutely amazing 👏. Very helpful, friendly, patient (we noticed a few customers seeming off and she handled it very well), and attentive. The food wasn't bad , but you could tell instead of it being freshly made food it was packaged frozen food. Would suggest not getting the corn, since it was frozen and they grilled it, let's just say it was pretty nasty. This place offers a lot of potential for sure and has a humble atmosphere. Don't go by the menu on the website because they do not offer a lot of what is on there, its a smaller version. My husband and I enjoyed our evening and will probably be back.

We went on a Saturday night and the band was good service was good. Food was ok. I got the 10 oz sirloin it was very tuff. My husband had lamb chops. 2 out of the 4 were good the other 2 were crispy.

Stopped here for appetizers after work. They have pool tables, poker tables, darts, variety of beers, full bar, and extensive menu. Our server was nice, attentive. Their chicken fried steak and Flatbread pizza was good and had plenty of toppings, not sparse like other restaurants.

This is a good dive bar - come here for beer and liquor, not a wine list. Great people watching, lively atmosphere, and good service. Our waitress was very efficient. You can come in and sit wherever you want. Just your regular bar food, but food was hot, fresh and decent. Prices are reasonable. This would be a good place to go to listen to live music, make new friends, and take a large group. For what it is, its at the top of its category - a good neighborhood dive bar! Stars are given based on that.

I always go in for lunch on a Saturday. It's pretty much just a few people there at that time, but the service is always great. Good beer selection on draft and the burger is delicious. Beer always cold and burger is nice and fat. Staff is polite and attentive.
