Beautiful restored historic movie theatre in downtown Downers Grove. The Tivoli Theatre is now a two screen theatre with 7.1 surround sound and 4K digital projection. Enjoy organ music before the first Friday evening show in the Big Screen auditorium. Classic Cinemas offers free refills on all popcorn and fountain drinks. I wish they had ushers that remind the audience about good manners and if the person refuses to behave, show them the door.

Clean, beautiful, old-school movie theatre in DT DG. Plenty of parking along the tracks and side roads, several theatres, great little snack stand at front. If you're looking for an original experience like the old days this is it. Velvety movie nights are found here.

Wow!! What a special unique and stunning theater!! it’s a special experience when you go to the Tivoli.. they have great independent films.. 🎥 and the backdrop is set in an architectural Marvel of a theater.. 🎭 at that a huge one at that.. one with live music, discussions, post film, and introductions.. a classic unique theater experience.. They also have a film club that may take advantage of and the film prices are really reasonable. Parking is ample and everything is right across downtown Downers Grove!

Saw TJ and John Williams show. Good show and place it nice. Just parking not ideal. Saw so many older people having such a difficult time walking as far as they did because the parking was very limited.

This is the best theater in the area. We have been to the AMCs and Cinemark close by and the Tivoli is hands down has been the best experience. The staff is all friendly, the tickets are reasonable, the popcorn is great. We have not had any of their other snack yet, but someday. They sometimes have a promotion where you get a free game of bowling when you show your movie ticket at the lanes next door, so it makes for a great date night. I highly recommend it!

We discovered the smaller theater for sensory needs. My kids loved the seats. We also love the $2 movie days for the kids in the summer. Great theater, very pretty inside. Friendly staff.
