Novel Idea Bookstore And More

A quaint place to spend some relaxing and fun time. Game rooms, coffee and tea studio, smoothies and bubble teas, book store, record shop, children's rooms, ice cream and cereal bars and more. They are working on a recording studio. Close to 300 board games to play. Wondeful ambiance. Check website for open times for the different parts. Parking is on the street.

Magical shop! loved it! Found a record I hadn't seen since my childhood for 3 bucks! Great variety of books, records, posters, Candy and more. A must see

Not a fan. Used books is not listed on the window facing the street, so you don't know it's a bookstore. Went there at 5 pm, when Google says they're open until 9, and the door was locked.

Good little small town shop. I really enjoyed the music and book areas, but some of the other areas seemed not as put together and messy. Staff didn't seem particularly friendly. Not a huge selection, but you might find a diamond in the rough.

The addition of the board game shop/cafe is a great touch! The owner/managers/employees are really nice and welcoming. The prices are thankfully well done for the area by not being overly high but also not bottom barrel low. There's easily over 100 different board games and styles so you're not going to get bored by just playing monopoly and clue. The fact they have great coffee selections as well as cold drinks like smoothies(berry being my favorite) as well as cereal and snacks is a great addition to a hopefully growing community of downtown GC. Kudos to the people trying to bring this area back to life.

The owner has too many businesses and they all look unfinished and even more than half of the time they aren’t ever open. Keep with one business excel at that and then think about opening elsewhere. Why make 5 mom and pop places here and there and then they aren’t even good and then no one ends up going. We need some good decent places in Granite not rinky dink places.

A wonderful little place full of books, movies, records & cd's, posters plus a full line of Ski products and done hard to find candy bars. If you walk through the various rooms long enough, you'll definitely find something you can't live without! (Includes a small playroom for children while you shop)

Local Gem. Always a great treasure to find. Love this place. From books to record to baby clothes, this place has it all. Also sales baked goods, old fashioned candy and ice cream. Would recommend their root bear floats. Great place to find a good book. Works are friendly and helpful. Great environment, safe area.
