Out of anywhere I have lived in my adult life, this power company has the worst electric grid I have ever seen. The outages are several times a week. I would recommend moving areas just to avoid having this low quality power company.

They can never keep the power on. If you are forced to use this company for your homes power, make sure you invest in a generator and have plenty of fuel available. I’ve experienced better electrical service in third world countries than what these people provide. They are a power company based in Texas, yet gets its power from the state of Louisiana, which, is one of the reasons power is always out. The transmission line from LA to TX is consistently going down. Or so they claim. Why is this company based in Texas, not on the Texas power grid? Why are there not contingencies for power switching? Why do we rely on one line that is ALWAYS down. Do these people not realize we live in Texas, where it’s HOT. Being without power for 4 hours, twice a week for years on end is unacceptable. They are real quick to take your money but can’t supply you power. They are a cooperative but the members have no say in how the company is run. This company seems criminal. Get your act together PHEC! Edit: here we go, another Sunday where the power just randomly goes out while I’m in the middle of an important zoom meeting. Get your act together Panola! Can’t wait for the next voting session to vote every single one of you out Edit 2: Another one! Just a few days after this last outage, how many times are you going to let the power go out? This is the most corrupt and incompetent electric company to ever exist. It seems criminal at this point. Edit 3: About a month later and guess what guys! Another transmission line failure! Wahoo

Power is always out for hours at a time with no real updates but they never fail to request your payment. At this point I’m constantly reporting them to BBB. This company is crooked and corrupt.

This electric company sucks!! This power has gone out since Saturday and it’s Tuesday. If the wind blows wrong or rain starts, you can guarantee it’s gonna go out!! We pay our bill on time, every time…. We understand that the storms aren’t preventable but something has to be done about this… just 2 miles up the road is Aep/Swepco territory and they’ve had the same storm come through… lost power for an hour and it’s on….this just doesn’t make any sense and if we could SWITCH we would!!! Worst power company in Keithville, Springridge, And the surrounding areas. This power goes out once or twice a week, in this heat and it’s ridiculous!!!

This company is a joke. It will rain and the power will be out for HOURS. No good updates. Their updates will say “linemen are wading through the water” like ok? Where are the REAL updates Not the lineman I am blaming. This company needs a better system. Stronger system. No thunder, no lightening, no wind but still NO POWER. Hate that we have no choice but use this sorry company.

We've had service with Panola Harrison for almost 3 years. The WORST service ever.!!!!! Keep calling when power goes off, the response, "call an electrician". Why? Just to spend more money to discover their problems Their records don't show us loosing power. Convenient? Really want to speak with a member of the Board of Directors. But web site doesn't have a contact function. What are they Afraid of Or is this only for show? Doesn't deserve any stars for service.

Same complaint that most users have voiced. Power goes out constantly, and they are slow to get it restored. The street just south of us is on SWEPCO, it never fails, we lose power they still have power. PHEC is a joke of a company run by a bunch of crooks.

My electric bills are higher with this company than my house in the Dallas area. I am at the Dallas house most of the time. I could be gone for a month and my bill is still $150 with everything turned off. All the lights are off and air conditioner. It makes no sense. I think they use an averaging metric if your electricity usage is low. I did call and ask to get my actual reading for my usage a couple of months ago and asked them to check my electric meter to make sure nothing was wrong. The lady I spoke with was nice and said she would have a crew out to check on the meter. They never followed up, however, they did credit my account $150 which I appreciated. Now my bills are still over $100 and I haven’t even been there so I’ll be calling them again to try and figure out what’s going on. It’s annoying to be required to go through this co-op and not have the option to choose your own provider. Hopefully, they’ll make things right again when I call.
